Space

Primary Two have been learning about Space.  We have recently completed some home research and the children were excited to bring in their work this morning!

We have been using our large construction toys and junk modelling materials to build space rockets.

Please look at our photographs and see all the fun we have been having.

Primary 7 teach Primary One French. Tres Bien!

Primary 7 recently created French books which they shared with their Primary One ‘wee buddies’.

The younger children responded very well and some of them were able to remember the new words they encountered.

One clever cookie in Primary One managed to write out all of the colour words in French. Magnifique!

Great concentration!

Primary One Frozen Topic

P1270114

Primary One have been doing a short Frozen topic. We learnt about the characters and settings in a story then created our own settings for Olaf. We learnt how snow and ice are made and what would happen if Olaf went sunbathing. We made our own icemen and conducted an experiment to see which part of the class room was the hottest. We finished our topic with a Frozen party where we had ice cream and cakes.
