The S1-S3 Broad General Education course ensures all pupils are working at an appropriate Curriculum for Excellence level for their developmental stage.
Below you can find links to our course outlines for Levels 2, 3 and 4, so you can see what students are studying:
Please note that dates are approximate and will adapt if necessary
Level 2 course outline – this will be followed by a small number of S1 pupils. This is aligned to our online textbook in partnership with Zeta Maths (Access code is available from class teacher)
Level 3 course outline – this will be followed by the majority of S2 pupils. This is aligned to our online textbook in partnership with Zeta Maths (Access code is available from class teacher)
BGE S2 course outline – this will be followed by all S2 pupils in session 2025/26. The course will be adapted to suit the individual needs of classes. This course is being developed to align with our online textbook. However, in the meantime, Third Level and Fourth Level books will contain support.
S3 Road to N5 course outline – this will be followed by the majority of S3 pupils. This will cover a majority of level 4 outcomes and pushed to experience National 5 outcomes where necessary. Zeta Maths exercises can be found in Fourth Level and National 5 (Maths and Apps of Maths) books.
S3 Road to N4 course outline – this will be followed by a small number of S3 pupils. This will cover a majority of level 4 outcomes but will consolodate level 3 outcomes where necessary. Zeta Maths exercises can be found in Third Level, Fourth Level and National 4 books.
