We have scheduled our first Parent Forum meeting for Wednesday 21st September @ 6:00pm.  We have no Agenda set for this meeting, however we will be discussing how we would like our Forum to run and discuss ways of getting parents and the community more involved with the Nursery.  We hope to see you there!

All the staff at Whitdale Early Years would like to welcome all our new children for 2016-2017 and a big welcome back to all our pre-school children.  Everyone has settled in well at the start of this year and we’re looking forward to another exciting academic year.  We also have two new members of staff, Mrs Gorman the Blue group Nursery Nurse and Mrs Slattery our new Pupil Support Worker.

Parent Forum Meeting – Wednesday 4th November. We would be delighted if you could attend our first meeting for 2015-2016.  It is very informal and a great opportunity to offer suggestions and support for improving our nursery.  Our morning parents are invited at 8:45am and our afternoon parents at 12:09pm.

We have been looking at Zoo animals in the nursery.  We created our own habitats for our animals to live in and learned all about the different climates and types of animals that live around the world.  We invited Cool Creatures to come and visit to meet some of the unusual animals we had been learning about.
