Your child is being given the opportunity to participate in a Toothbrushing Programme at nursery. The programme will be supervised by nursery staff and is supported by Lothian NHS Trust Community Dental Services.
Your child will be given a toothbrush for his/her own personal use which will be replaced regularly.
A fluoride toothpaste in line with current Scottish National Guidelines will be used (1000ppm).
Toothbrushing will take place during group time.
This programme is not intended to replace the need for supervised toothbrushing at home.
