This morning we thought about commenting on people’s writing on blogs.

We read and enjoyed the stories on this blog page.

We thought about some rules or ideas for good commenting. This is what we used.

● 1.Acknowledge the author – use their name in your reply.

● 2.Give a specific compliment – say what it is you like.

● 3.Agree or disagree with what they say…but ALWAYS say why.

● 4.Be appropriate.

● 5.Be polite.

● 6.Give some details, ask a questions or add some information or your opinion.

We then added some of the comments onto the blog page.
