We Were learning about the Ning Nang Nong in writing. We investigated the rhyming words and the alliteration in the poem. We wrote our own version of the Ning Nang Nong.

Panto Payments
Many of you have already paid for the upcoming pantomime trip, however, Mrs Davies has worked her magic and for those who have not yet paid and would find it useful, there is now the facility to pay for the pantomime using ipayimpact.
We hope that this will be helpful to some of our parents.
Christmas Fair
A reminder that Torphichen Primary School will have a stall at the Torphichen Christmas Fair on Saturday 26th November. We’ll be selling lots of lovely handmade goods, including bracelets, calendars and cards.
We hope to see you at the Community Centre from 1pm – 4pm.

Christmas Preparations begin!
As the countdown to Christmas draws closer, we are beginning to practice our songs and words for our school performances. This term, all classes have been learning about Scottish culture through their studies of artists, music, dance and famous folk, so we decided to stick to the Scottish theme!
Primary 1 and 2 will be performing “The McTivity” – a Scottish take on the Nativity story.
Primary 3 – 7 will be performing “Och Aye the News, Tales Through Time” – a journey through time to visit some of Scotland’s most famous people and landmarks.
