BLYTHSWOOD CARE SHOEBOX APPEAL 2016

The Global Group would like to say a huge thanks to everyone who has prepared and gifted a Christmas Shoebox already.  If anyone else is interested in donating a wonderful gift this Christmas, please use the link below to find out more about the Blythswood Shoebox Appeal.

Due to the request to extend the cut off date for shoebox donations, gifted boxes can now be handed into school by Tuesday 29th November.  If you require a new Blythswood leaflet, your child can collect one from Miss Ramos.

Christmas Preparations begin!

As the countdown to Christmas draws closer, we are beginning to practice our songs and words for our school performances. This term, all classes have been learning about Scottish culture through their studies of artists, music, dance and famous folk, so we decided to stick to the Scottish theme!

Primary 1 and 2 will be performing “The McTivity” – a Scottish take on the Nativity story.

Primary 3 – 7 will be performing “Och Aye the News, Tales Through Time” – a journey through time to visit some of Scotland’s most famous people and landmarks.

To help you support your children in learning the songs for the shows, you can find both the lyrics and the songs below.
