Good Morning
Make a list of your favourite foods and try to put them in alphabetical order.
Write 5 words that describe you and draw a self portrait.
Good morning boys and girls. It’s almost the Easter holidays – not long to go now!
MATHS
This morning please can you watch this video to remind you about telling the time.
Now can you please complete a time worksheet from your home learning pack – chose whichever one you would like to do. Ask an adult to check it for you.
Now can you teach someone in your family what you know. Teach them about the hands of the clock and where the big hand and little hand should be pointing to at different times. You can also teach them about digital time if you can.
If you can – practice counting in 2s, 5s and 10s. Try and go as far as you can. You could then try to start from different numbers to make it trickier, If you want a challenge, then try to count backwards in 2s, 5s and 10s. Here is a 100 square to help you if you need it. Good luck! Mrs Reid
Natural Art
It’s important to exercise and get some fresh air. Go on a walk and collect fallen leaves, sticks, petals and use them to make a picture or sculpture. Remember we would love to see your creations please email them to the school.
Numeracy
Write the 2 times table onto pieces of card. Turn the pieces of card over and select one at a time. I would like you to make an array using materials from around the house toy cars, counters, buttons or cheerios. Remember an array is made up of rows and columns.
You can use this game to explore making different arrays

Here is the Eatwell Guide. As part of our Health and Wellbeing lessons, we are looking at the different Food Groups ( Fruit and Vegetables, Carbohydrates, Milk and Dairy, Food High in Fat and/or Sugar, Protein) and what makes a balanced meal. Here is an Eatwell Guide which gives us information on what makes a healthy and well-balanced diet.
The following link will take you to an interactive website where you have to sort food items into their relevant food groups.
Have fun!

MATHS
This afternoon, use your salt dough to make different numbers. Try to make different numbers up to 100. If you want to challenge yourself then try to make numbers to 1000 and beyond.
If you didn’t make salt dough and don’t have any play-doh at home then make your numbers using dried pasta/raisins/chocolate buttons/lego bricks etc.
There are lots of Spring Maths activities on this website. Once you are on the website choose a Maths game – Easter eggs, flowers, bunny, present or chick. Have fun!

Hi everyone. Hope everyone is safe and well. Here are a few tasks for this morning
Make salt dough with an adult to help you. It is very easy to make. Here is the recipe and instructions
4 tbsp flour (any kind)
1 tbsp salt
Half a tbsp vegetable oil
30ml water
Use your salt dough to make your first and second name. You could also try to make capital letters from your salt dough. Start at the letter A and try and make all the letters right through to Z. You can use the salt dough that we made in class that you took home too or play-doh.
If you finish this, try to make an Easter chick or bunny using your salt dough. Have fun. Leave a comment on this post to tell me how you are getting on with your salt dough. Enjoy! Mrs Reid.
Good afternoon. Hope everyone managed to make as many ai words as they could. Well done!
This afternoon watch the video about subitising. You love joining in with this song in class. Sing along and shout out the numbers as you go.

Double it! Now what is your answer?
Take away/Add 10, now what is your answer?
*Repeat with another two numbers between 0-10. (Pick two numbers between 0-20, 0-50 or 0-100 if you want a challenge)
