Primary 3 Activities

Good afternoon

Numeracy

Here are a few songs to help you learn your 2 times table.  Have fun singing along and then ask an adult to test you on your 2 times table.

I would like to click on the link from Bitesize where you will find an article on how adding can help you multiply.

  1. J really liked the times table videos, especially the reggae one. He answered the true or false questions as well.
J also came up with quite a few jumping animals – Kangaroo, Frog, Grasshopper, Rabbit and a Monkey. He preceeded to jump around the Garden doing the different animals playing Simon says.
J had plenty of fun with the daily daft challenge. He made funny faces on an orange, banana, bread and mushrooms.

  2. The daily daft was really fun yesterday, I am glad you enjoyed it. It was a beautiful day for getting exercise in the garden.J you must be getting really confident at your 2 times table.

  3. R enjoyed the times tables videos.
She had a lot of fun with the pe at home jumping task. She wrote a list of animals that jump, leap and hop. She also turned our front garden into a playground with her some of her toys to do the jumping challenge and to play Simon says.
R also enjoyed the fact that it was such a sunny day and made chalk drawings on the drive

  4. I am pleased to hear you enjoyed the videos, you will be confident with the 2 times table now. I hope she helped to tidy all the toys away. It was a beautiful day, it’s great getting the opportunity to take learning outdoors.
