Primary five were creating scenarios that demonstrated identity, diversity and tolerance. The boys and girls discussed how to show their understanding and decided to do a mixture of freeze frames and acting in role. We created some videos too!
Not everyone is the same and each person has different personalities, skin tones and eye colour so don’t judge a person just by their colour – Anna
People have different jobs as part of their identity, your identity is your name, there are lots of different parts of your identity – Mya, Abigail and Nieve
When you meet people from different countries you get to learn how they live and the different foods that they have – Brodie
Ruth had to tolerate how they were eating a cheese string because she’d prefer them peeled – Abigail
Zoe was eating a hamburger and we were vegetarians and when we saw what she was eating we wondered why – Jamie
Mya had had a drink and she fell into Jordan-Lee and he retaliated and Nieve came and arrested Mya for anti-social behaviour – Brodie
