Whitdale Primary is aiming for it’s Level 1 in Unicef’s ‘Rights Respecting Schools’ campaign. We are learning all about the rights children have, as well as the responsibilitien the children have.

Each class have a copy of the UN’s Rights of the Child, which has 42 articles in total.

P2S are learning about Article 15 –

Children have the right to meet friends, unless there is a good reason why not.

We have been discussing being part of a group or team, like football, karate, dance, Rainbows, Beaver Scouts, dancing, swimming, gymnastics… and much more.
