We wanted to make Mrs Kennedy’s last week before she retires very special. We planned lots of activities and were very busy organising a special thank you and goodbye. Please take a wee look at our SWAY that we have created showing you the special things we organised to say goodbye to Mrs Kennedy. We are sure Mrs Kennedy is looking forward to a well earned rest!

We were very excited to play with our new building bricks. The children worked well

Welcome Back to KEYC!
We hope you had a nice Christmas break! We are very excited to be back to nursery and we are looking forward to exploring and learning. This week we were excited to see the snow! We talked about what it felt like and looked like and used thinking skills to decide how we wanted to play with the snow. We created a game with the hoola hoops to throw snow balls into them and score points! We also decided we wanted to create pictures with glue and different shapes, creating ‘houses’ and ‘homes’ and a ‘dolly’ and a ‘dolls house’
Children in Need Dress up!
Its beginning to look a lot like Autumn!
We have been noticing the changes that are happening in the environment around us. The leaves are starting to fall off the trees and change colour, the weather has changed also and we have noticed it becoming a bit windy! We have also started to harvest the potatoes that we have grown in our garden.
Lunchtime at KEYC
Lunch is now being served.
Please have a look at our new Nursery Menu. Snack will continue to be provided throughout the day along drinks of milk and water.
Biodiversity at Knightsridge Early Years Centre
We had “newbies” join our nursery family in April. This sparked unwavering interest and learning in the minibeasts that could be found around our garden.
Have a look at our learning below.
Our "newbies" joined our nursery family today @KnightsridgeEYC 🐛. We are all looking forward to watching them develop and grow as we learn about metamorphosis.🦋 #lifecycles #developingbiodiversity pic.twitter.com/ELL9m51P5m
