Good Morning

Todays’ challenge is a Name Treasure Hunt.

What are the letters in your name? Can you find items that start with each letter from your name?

Think creatively. D is for daffodil but could also be F for flower or even Y for yellow flower! Can you complete this activity for your first name and your surname or even the whole alphabet?

Upload a picture to your Learner Journal to show us what you have found.

Good Afternoon All

We all love singing and learning new songs at KEYC.

Why don’t you have a look at https://www.outoftheark.co.uk/ootam-at-home/  and try Move it Monday – Clap Hands, Stamp Feet

Some of you may even remember Fun Friday – Spring Chicken Song.   We sang this last year when our chicks came to stay and I’m sure we have a video of some of our children singing and doing the actions.  Have a look at your Learners Journal.

Enjoy singing!

Home Learning Activities 30th March 2020

What do you see?

Whether out on a walk, in the garden or in the house collect some items and say what you see.

How many circles/dots/stones do you see?

How did you come up with your answer?

What number is one more?

What number is one less?

What happens if you rearrange the objects, will you still have the same?

Let us know how you’re getting on by updating your Learners Journal.

Lets Get Outside!

If you’re out playing in the garden or going on a walk take a bag and collect a variety of natural items and try these activities.

Match and sort. Collect a variety of items. Can you sort them by size colour and shape?

Create a pattern. Once you have sorted your items could you use them to create a simple or even a complex pattern?

Transient art. Can you continue to use your collected items to create your own art work on the ground? A slab could be your “paper”. You could make a self-portrait, a whole family portrait, your favourite animal, a house or even a vehicle.

Remember to post a picture of your learning to your online learner journal under the Home Learning Achievements tab.
