Diary Dates

Monday 17th June – Sports day

9.30am for the morning children        2.00pm for the afternoon children

Monday 24th June – End of term party

Normal nursery times

Wednesday 26th June – Leavers Ceremony

10.45 am for morning pre-school children’s parents

2.45 pm  for afternoon pre-school children’s parents

Thursday 27th June – Nursery Trip

Bus for Blair Drummond Safari Park. bus will be at the centre at 9.00am and will leave at 9.15am.

Wednesday 21st August – Nursery resumes for children.

Healthy Eating

The children have been learning about healthy eating and keeping fit. They have been tasting different fruits and vegetables at snack. Many children have painted still life pictures of a healthy fruit bowl. We have been talking about which foods are healthy and which ones are not. The children have also been learning that physical activities outside and inside are a good way to keep fit.  They have had fun playing with the equipment and learning how to move their bodies in different ways.

Caterpillars

We are absolutely delighted that our tiny little caterpillers have now turned into Painted Lady Butterflies. The children have really enjoyed and learned alot from this experience. We couldn’t keep them long so on Thursday 30th May we let them free and they flew away into the community.
