Here is a copy of the letter that was sent this week relating to home learning

15^th January 2021

Dear Parent/Carer,

In these uncertain times, to support you and your child, we will send out a programme of our weekly planned learning ideas which you can choose to engage with at home. This programme will consist of a weekly learning sway and daily activities posted to your child’s Learning Journal.

This is an offer to you and your child to support you to continue your child’s learning and development at home. Additionally, during this current period of restrictions our ELC practitioners will make contact with you via phonecall and/or email to ensure that we keep in contact with you .

There is also a West Lothian Early Learning and Childcare Blog which you may find useful. This contains a wide range of ideas for play and support as well as links to many useful sites.

Ladywell Nursery

The children had a great day yesterday at our Christmas fun day.  They took part in activities if they wished to they included threading Christmas pasta, Christmas table top games, Christmas colouring in sheets, creating candy canes, stockings and making up reindeer food, listening to Christmas stories and playing party games.  They also had a special virtual visit from Santa. The children all appeared to have had a fun filled day.
