House System

Strathyre Primary School has four different houses.

The houses are called Lawers, Ledi, Sheann and Vorlich.

They are named after local landmarks.

All children in the school are assigned a house. Everyone is part of that team. We have regular house meetings and there is a winning house. All children earn points for good work and good behaviour and try to become top scorer. The winning house is decided by the number of points.

Assembly

At the whole school assembly a child from every class will be chosen to be Star Pupil. Their class teacher will have chosen someone who has made an outstanding effort that week in some way. We like to celebrate this success with a certificate being awarded by Mrs Starkey, our headteacher.
