The South Lanarkshire Council Rock Collective is a dynamic youth music initiative that celebrates creativity, collaboration, and performance across the region. Established to provide young musicians with meaningful opportunities to develop their skills, the Collective brings together instrumentalists, singers, and songwriters to explore rock and contemporary music in a supportive, structured environment.

Through rehearsals, mentoring, and live showcases, the Rock Collective encourages participants to build confidence, learn the craft of ensemble playing, and experience the energy of live performance. The Rock collective perform throughout the year, culminating in the headline spot at the annual Battle of the Bands, held in the Hamilton Townhouse.
