Primary School Lunches
The new school lunch summer menu started on Monday 26th April. We will be serving the 2021/2022 lunch menu in your child’s school up until Friday 26 August 2022.
The lunch for primary school children consists of a three course meal, including starter, main meal/snack, fresh fruit. The children also have access to unlimited bread, salad and vegetables to supplement their meal. We have introduced information on allergens and nutritional content for menu items served over lunchtime. The nutritional content of each meal is as accurate as possible but should be considered advisory.

All meals meet the New Nutritional Requirements for Food and Drink in Schools (Scotland) Regulations 2020. Fresh drinking water is available with all meals. Pupils wishing to buy milk at lunchtime can purchase at a cost of 24p.
Primary school meal costs:
- From January 2022, free school meals are now available for all pupils from Primary 1 to 5.
- Primary 6 and 7 will be charged £2.
- If your child is in Primary 6-7 they may be entitled to a Free school meal.
From Monday 29 August 2022 we will be serving the new 2022/2023 lunch menu in your child’s school.
If your child has any dietary needs, food allergies or intolerances please pick up a Special, medically prescribed diet, or intolerance registration form at your child’s school.
