At Rigside Primary School we use South Lanarkshire Council’s Promoting Positive Relationships and Understanding Distressed Behaviours (PPRUDB) when managing behaviour.
During the 2021/2022 session, we worked hard to review and refresh our relationships and behaviour policy in line with the nurture work taking place within the school. At Rigside, we recognise the importance in building and sustaining positive relationships with our learners to allow them to identify how their feelings impact their behaviour. Our staff are all trained in recognising and managing distressed behaviours.
As a result of its success, we will be continuing to use this during session 2022/2023.
