P1 Enrolment for August

Is your child due to start school in August 2023?
Parents/carers of children who are five years of age between 1 March 2023 and the end of February 2024 need to register their child for school.

Parents should use the catchment area checker – https://southlanarkshire.gov.uk/info/200186/primary_school_information/770/school_catchment_area_maps… – to select their preferred school and enrol their child from Monday 9 January 2023. Your catchment school will be in touch to discuss your application from 16 January 2023 onwards.

If you require any support, please contact the school office.

Participatory Budgeting is back for 2022!

Participatory Budgeting is a way that everyone involved in the school community has a direct say in how money is spent. We are gathering ideas for how a percentage of Pupil Equity Fund money can be spent.

We would like your thoughts on how we can spend £1,960 (5% of Rigside Primary School’s PEF allocation) to support the learning and health and wellbeing of pupils directly affected by poverty.

You will get a vote for the final ideas in the Participatory Budget vote at the end of this month!

Click the link or paste into your internet browser to complete the questionnaire to share your ideas with us!
