Kirkton Primary Parent Forum
We are pleased to introduce the Parent Forum of Kirkton Primary School, this forum is run by parents and the overarching aim is to enhance the school experience for the children who attend Kirkton Primary School. The aims of our group are set by the objectives in the Councils Constitution.
We aim to implement innovative fundraising ideas to raise money for equipment and experiences that benefit the children of our school and support the parent community by;
- Providing a forum for ideas and suggestions that would enhance the school.
- Representing the views of parents on the education provided by the school and other matters affecting the education and welfare of pupils
- Communicating with parents on recent activities and planned future activities and initiatives.
- Working in partnership with the school to create a welcoming school which is inclusive for all parents
- Promoting partnership between the school, its pupils and all its parents
Current Members
We have many parents who are involved in the forum, who can offer their enthusiasm and expertise in a variety of ways, whether be it fundraising, volunteering your time or even helping out at clubs.
Our current Parent Council Office Bearers are

Our meetings
We normally meet the last Tuesday of the month, our meetings are currently being held online however we are hopeful that we will be able to meet in person again in the future. If at any time you would like to join one of our meetings to find out more of what we do, raise any concerns or have ideas to fundraise please get in touch and we can send you the link. We are always welcome to new ideas and many hands make light work.
