What is TACPAC?

TACPAC is a sensory communication resource that uses touch and music. It can help with sensory alignment and helps children who have sensory impairment, developmental delay, complex learning needs, tactile defensiveness and limited or pre-verbal levels of communication.

It is a half hour structured session for two people (adult and child) that follows the same sequences of music , touch and items.

This allows children to develop an awareness of the routine and in time may often predict  the items needed to start the session and what item comes next.

For more information on TACPAC please speak to Karen, Our parent and child support worker.
