PTC – Parent Teacher Committee

The Parent Teacher Committee is a group of mainly parents and staff who meet regularly to help to improve relationships between parents, staff and others associated with the school and also assist in providing additional equipment and resources for the school.

This means raising money to pay for these items and then agreeing on how to allocate the money to be spent following requests or suggestions from staff, parents and children.

Some of the activities we organise every year are a variety of Disco’s for the children, a Summer Family Fun Night and a Christmas Fayre. We are always open for ideas on how to raise more funds for the school.

Our meetings are on the last Tuesday of every month at 7pm in the staff room and are very light hearted and informal. You are only committed to as much as you want to volunteer for. Some of us have been involved in the parent council since our children started school in P1 and have a lot of experience to pass on.

If you wish to come along to the meetings or help out at any of the PTC fundraising activities (i.e. discos, Family Fun Nights etc.), then contact any member of the PTC or the school admin office.
