What is Bucket Time?
- Based on the principles 4 stage structure underpinning āThe Attention Autism Approachā (Gina Davies)
- Bucket Time is a fun intervention that aims to help children develop social communication skills and / or attention
- Encourages the ability to share attention with another person, respond to interaction, sustain attention for a short period of time, to enjoy watching another person playing with toys and to wait for a turn.
- It is a helpful approach for many children with additional support needs but not restricted to autism.
- Activities are designed to be fun and suited to the interests of children no matter what age or stage they are at.
