At the Early Learning Unit, we follow SIMOA guidance from the Care Inspectorate to help keep children safe. You’ll notice a purple elephant symbol at our exit buttons, this is a gentle reminder of our safety practices.
Please remember adults should be the only one to press the buttons to open the doors throughout the setting.
We also offer SIMOA home link bags, which include a knitted SIMOA elephant for children to take home for a few days. These bags are a fun and engaging way to continue learning about safety together at home.
