At our nursery, we use TACPAC (Tactile Approach to Communication Package) as a targeted intervention to support children’s communication and emotional development.
TACPAC combines touch-based (tactile) experiences with music, helping children make meaningful connections between what they feel and what they hear. This can be especially helpful for children who benefit from additional sensory input or who are developing their communication skills.
Our trained staff identify children who would benefit from TACPAC, and they access it as part of their regular nursery routine in a calm, supportive environment.
