At our nursery, we use a special outdoor space calledĀ Mr McWheelies, where all children have the opportunity to explore and learn how to ride a bike.
This garden area is equipped with a variety of bikes from balance bikesĀ toĀ pedal bikes, allowing children to progress at their own pace. Learning to ride is a big milestone, and through this experience, children buildĀ balance,Ā stride, andĀ confidenceĀ with every turn of the wheel.
Itās also a space where children learn important social skills likeĀ taking turns,Ā making friends, andĀ supporting one another.
