At the Early Learning Unit, we place a strong emphasis on working in partnership with our families. To support good communication, we have developed a calendar that includes all key dates so that parents and carers are kept informed about everything taking place in nursery life.
We also run a parent group called Friends of the ELU and are keen to welcome more parents and carers to join us in the new term. The group provides an opportunity to discuss upcoming events, such as the Christmas Fayre, explore fundraising opportunities and contribute ideas on how we can continue to develop and improve our setting.
Meetings alternate between Microsoft Teams and in-person sessions at the ELU, following preferences shared by parents through a recent questionnaire. If you would like to become involved with Friends of the ELU, we would be delighted to see you. Meeting links and dates will be shared through Learning Journals to ensure everyone has the information needed to take part.
