At the Parent Council meeting earlier this week, the safety concerns of the car park were raised again. This is an ongoing issue and one that we have struggled to improve over the years. The rules have been sent home on many occasions and staff have tried to be visible in the car park area to remind users of the need for safety but the issue still remains. We have raised this with the council for support over the years too. If you have a suggestion of how to improve things, please get in touch. 

The photograph attached gives clear information – please note that there are 3 new spaces at the front of the school too. If another member of your family uses our car park, please pass the information to them too. This means we all keep the area safe.   

The arrangements for the car park are as follows:- 

· Park in a parking space 

· All Parents, Carers, Staff and children must follow the rules of the road within the car park, such as – park in a space to drop or collect your child, cross at the crossing 

· The 3 spaces at the front of the school are for Blue Badge holders only 

· Once in the gate, pedestrians should stay on the path
