Millie and her brother Lewis have been raising money for MacMillan cancer support. Millie and Lewis wanted to do something for their gran, Beth, who has cancer. They decided that in the month of January they would cycle or walk 4miles everyday for 4 weeks. They have smashed their target of £100 and have raised almost £2000!
They were in the Rutherglen Reformer and the Daily record who recognised their hard work for a great cause.
Well Done, we are super proud of you 👏🏻

Next week is Children’s Mental Health Week. We are all finding lockdown challenging and it is important to take time for ourselves and make sure we are keeping our bodies and our minds healthy. Next week we will be posting some activities to help support children’s (and adults) mental health.
Please remember that the children’s learning is important but it is also important to have breaks, have fun and take care of ourselves.
Anything you need from nursery, please ask. We are here to support and help in anyway we can.
Share any activities or things you do to relax and unwind and take care of yourself.

During the first lockdown we created rainbows and sunshine’s to put in our windows to cheer people up when they went their daily walk. As it is birdwatch week we thought it would be nice to fill all of our windows with colourful, exotic birds for people to spot on their walk and cheer them up. In your pack there is a bird template and feathers to use to create your birds. Be as creative as you can when making your birds, the more colourful the better. Display it in your window and see if you can spot any in other peoples windows when you are out walking. Miss McMenemy can’t wait to see your creations!
