Since we know how much you love singing games in nursery, we thought we would record ‘Sleeping bunnies’ so we can share with parents and you can play at home.

Daily Mile Challenge
Recently we have all been out and about on our daily walks to get some exercise and fresh air. It is one of the things we have come to enjoy during lockdown.
This week why don’t you shake up your daily mile?
- Do the MOBOT- do you know Mo Farah? He is one of the most successful Olympians of all time. He had a famous celebration called the ‘Mobot’. Find out what it looks like and do the Mobot on your walk.
- Silly Hair Day – Time for something silly! Head out for your daily mile with the silliest hair you can manage. Brush it the wrong way, spike it with gel, twist it into messy bunches…
- Train spotting- How many different types of transport can you see on your mile? You might spot a train, a motorcycle, a lorry…the list is endless.
Take some photos of you mile and let us know which challenge you completed.
Have fun. đŸ™‚

Home learning day 17- 02.02.2021 with Miss McAteer
Literacy/ EcoÂ
After revisiting all the things, we know or have just learned about Eco school and recycling with Miss Revie yesterday, I would like you to look on food packaging, shampoo bottles etc; and find the Recycling sign. See how many you can find, then I would like you to draw the sign so you know what you are looking for in the future.
Numeracy
Ring Games
The first game I would like you to try at home is the big brown bear . Some of you may know this. Here is the song ;
The big brown bear likes honey sweet
For him it is a special treat
He has eating such a lot
It’s time to steal his honey pot.
Someone will go in the middle and cover their eyes while someone steels the small object that is the pretend honey pot, the person in the middle has 3 guesses to who they think it was, then they go in the middle. get everyone in your house to play, if you only have a few people in your house then I thought you could use some teddies and pretend play. Click the link below to see how it is played.
Health and well being
Healthy homemade pizza
You could use a pitta bread, a wrap, or a thin to use as a base for your pizza then carefully spread some tomato puree, then cheese and then whatever else you like on your pizza like:
Chicken, Peppers, Onion, sweetcorn, Pepperoni, Bacon
Cant wait to see your homemade healthy pizza. Use the link below to see Miss McAteer making her pizza.
Children’s Mental Health Week – activity 1
We all know it is good to laugh. Recently there has been a lot of news which doesn’t make us feel very happy. So today’s challenge is to make one another laugh. It could be telling jokes, making funny faces or doing a silly dance, Whatever you think will make someone else laugh.
Laughing is good for us, it releases good thing in our body like dopamine and serotonin which makes us feel good and helps us to relax. Choose a time today to try and make one another laugh. You can share your best jokes or one liners to the nursery email.
