Mrs Burns would like to do a little emotional check-in today. She would like you to draw your face showing how you feel and if you can write the word next to your face. Some of the boys and girls in hub did some examples to show you.
Storytime with Ms McDougall
This week we are looking at space and Ms McDougall has chosen a fact book about space to share with you today.

Thinking about our feelings
During lockdown we have all experienced different emotions. It is important to talk about of feelings and if we talk about them we might be able to find out why we feel certain things.

Home Learning Day 23- 15/02/2021 with Mrs Canning
Literacy
Mrs Canning has been feeling the love and wanted to share a story love and being kind. Use the link below and then share some kindness with a hug.
Skills – listening and focussed attention and share and talk about my feelings.
Numeracy
Mrs Canning would like to practise our numbers in a fun way. Using pegs you have in the house and your whiteboard practise your numbers to ten. You can write numbers on the pegs and match them to your whiteboard like the first picture or use them to count quantity of pegs to match the number.
Skills- Number recognition, counting and quantity.
Health and Wellbeing
Today we will be making lovebugs.Â
What you will need- coloured paper or card, glue stick and pipe cleaners/straws (optional)
First cut out one big heart, then two little hearts.
After you have cut out your hearts, stick the little hearts to the big hearts as hands.
Draw on or stick on some eyes and a smile (you can add the straws/pipecleaners if you like)
Last, give to someone you love.

Cairns Nursery Superstar show- week beginning 08.02.2021
This week was a two-day blog learning week because of the February break but that did not stop our superstars learning in lockdown. Great to see so many of you having fun with your families out in the snow and ready to learn at the end of the week. Keep up the great work and have a lovely weekend.
