We hope you enjoyed your first session back. It was lovely to see all of your smiling faces, we have missed you all.
We know that our playroom looks a little different and it might take a little while to get use to, but you all settled in extremely well and we were very impressed.
It ‘s a little different that mums and dads can’t come into our playroom at the minute so we thought it would be nice to create our own family tree on the wall. We will make a beautiful tree and if everyone brings in a family photo we can hang the photos on it. This means that anytime we are missing them there will be a photo we can look at until its time to go home. We can’t wait to see all of your family photos 💗
See you all tomorrow!
Attention parents of returning children.
Please check your emails for information regarding details for children’s return to nursery.
If your child is due to return to nursery and you haven’t received an email detailing their return, please get in touch with the school/nursery directly.
Thanks
Cairns Nursery Team
As we await guidance and further information on our return to nursery, we just wanted to pop on to our blog to tell you how much we are missing you and looking forward to welcoming you back.
It may be a little different but nursery will still be the place were there are lots of smiles, fun and learning.
For settling children back into routine and supporting them in their transition back to school the website below gives lots of hints and tips on our return.
Can’t wait to see you all soon!
We are all missing our friends. So heres a last little reminder of all of our friends who will be waiting for us when we return to nursery.
Have an amazing summer, we will be waiting to hear all about it.
Sending all our love, take care!
Cairns Nursery Team
We have had the most unusual ending to this year but we have made some amazing memories. We miss you all so much but look forward to welcoming you back in the new session.
The children have been reflecting on their year at nursery and sharing their memories.
Emily-Emily said she loved the trip to the wind farm, playing in the MUGA and going to the gym hall. More recently she loved staff dropping off her graduation pack, and wished they could visit every day! She misses all her friends and staff and has loved her time in Cairns nursery class. Thank you to everyone xxx
Maisy- has loved making friends and she has been really missing them during lockdown.
Jack D – Jack have been looking back over what has been an amazing 2 years at cairns nursery. There was so many things Jack has enjoyed but to list a few:
House corner
Sand pit
Bikes outside
Hula hoop game in the gym hall
MUGA pitch
And making some amazing friends.
One thing he is really going to miss is his teachers.
Best of luck to all the kids heading off to p1 and thank you again for everything we will miss you all.
Lots has been happening. Grace turned 5 and had her graduation on the same day. She also visited her new school. Hollie has been having fun outdoors. Jacob has been having fun participating in some of our sports day action. Emily made her own obstacle course in her garden.
Children returning to nursery after the summer be on the lookout for a special delivery today. You may see two people you haven’t seen in a while…
