Home Learning 20/01/2021 Day 8 with Miss McAteer
Miss McAteer has enjoyed watching your learning on the blog and she decided to set some of her own learning tasks as a challenge for you.
Literacy
After reading the story of Zog and the flying doctor Miss McAteer thought you could all draw or make a picture of a dragon. In the story the dragon is called Zog. What would you call your dragon? Try and write your dragons name on your picture or get an grown up to help.
Here is an example by cutting out some shapes and sticking them on you can create your own dragon.
Numeracy
Miss McAteer has loved the snow so much, she was sad to see it leave. So she came up with this amazing idea to create our own snow inside. Follow her snow dough recipe to make your own snow at home.
Health and Wellbeing
Recently in nursery the purple group have been loving go noodle which you can find on you tube, so I thought try this at home and you could get your sibling or adult up for a dance. You could try and be a superhero like the doctor in the Story of ‘Zog and the flying doctor’.
In Miss McAteer’s house her children love to get dressed up and dance. TO make it even more fun they like to get dressed up in their dressing up costumes and dance around all together. Try it and don’t forget to send in your photos.
