Now that you have listened to the story, Mrs Hutcheson has a task for you to do.
Numeracy
Mrs Hutcheson would like you to look at tallest and shortest today. Who is the tallest in your house? Who is the smallest? Is you house the tallest in your street?
Here is a link to a game where you can test your knowledge of tallest and shortest.
Health and Wellbeing
During the first lockdown we created rainbows and sunshine’s to put in our windows to cheer people up when they went their daily walk. As it is birdwatch week we thought it would be nice to fill all of our windows with colourful, exotic birds for people to spot on their walk and cheer them up. In your pack there is a bird template and feathers to use to create your birds. Be as creative as you can when making your birds, the more colourful the better. Display it in your window and see if you can spot any in other peoples windows when you are out walking. Miss McMenemy can’t wait to see your creations!
Skills- being creative with mixed media, development of fine motor skills (using scissors)
