Homework due Wednesday 5th January

Happy Monday Room 13!

The next two weeks are going to fly by as we are off this Friday and then the following Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday!

Please can I ask, anyone who has not returned their enterprise letter back to me, to do so ASAP.  With the holidays that we have, our enterprise project is going to be here before we know it.  So we need to start organising what each person will be bringing on the day!

Only two small pieces of homework this week as it will be due in on Wednesday.  We have been doing SO well with our homework record this term… let’s keep it up!

Can you please read Chapter 21 – again I ask that you read this aloud to a member of the family to help you practice your fluency and tone with reading.

Please complete the ten maths questions in your jotter.  I have used the chilli challenge, so please choose mild, spicy or hot to complete in your jotter (make sure you write the title at the top of your page so I know which one you have completed).  I will have copies of these questions in class to take home too.

Mild:

1) 25 + 63         2) 100 – 45           3) 4 x 4              4) 25 ÷ 5

5) 0.2 + 0.7      6) 34 + 52         7) 500 – 150         8) 6 x 3

9) 15 ÷  5        10) 1.8 + 2.3

Spicy:

1) 168 + 324      2) 150 – 27          3) 6 x 8              4) 27 ÷ 3

5) 5.2 + 3.7         6) 437 + 81         7) 225 – 75         8) 7 x 5

9) 42 ÷  6        10) 4.8 + 8.2

Hot:

1) 1235 + 4632         2) 800 – 135         3) 8 x 7        4) 150 ÷ 5

5) 12.2 + 28.7             6) 2304 + 9592               7) 900 – 355

8) 12 x 12                       9) 360 ÷  6                10) 71.8 + 32.1

Looking forward to a new week, with positive attitudes and new goals to strive towards!

Dream Team Room 13 (thinking this could be our new class moto!)

Let’s have an amazing week.
