Spelling – 4 activities in homework jotter (list of activities given)
Reading – All groups – Chapter 1 of given book. Please read and discuss the strategies sheet sent home. Some of these can used with reading at home each week. Children are familiar with ways to complete each strategy through our work in class. A lot of this work is oral and the reading strategies do not have to be recorded anywhere or returned to class. We will continue working on these in school using various other texts.
Numeracy – Login to Studyladder/Sumdog and complete activities once or twice this week, or use other online Numeracy games for addition/ times tables
Circles practice x tables 2-9, Triangles practice x tables 2, 3, 4, 5, 10
Learn Its – Please see sheet sent home and practice learning these facts and tables off by heart on a regular basis.
