Our Child Led Parents’ Event
It was wonderful to see so many families in school last week enjoying the curriculum activities and walks around the school. Almost all feedback is positive and any suggestions will be brought forward to our next child led event.
Fruit Pots
Thankyou to the Health Committee for organising Fruit Pots to sell at school today.
World Book Day
There was lots of excitement as pupils came to school dressed as characters, or in their pyjamas, for World Book Day.
Christmas Jumper Day
Pupils wore Christmas Jumpers and raised a fantastic £107.68 for Save the Children.
Primary 3/4 judged a Christmas jumper design competition and here are the winning entries from each class.
Pudsey Bear visits Whiteness
P1/2 have been baking and we all wore our pyjamas or spots today to take part in Children In Need. We have raised an amzing £155.20 with a few more pennies to count that came in late.

Plastics writing winners announced
Our Eco Committee ran a competition in school to raise awareness of the impact one use plastics have on our environment.
Today a winner from each year group was announced in assembly. Keep your eye out as this post get updated with the winning pieces of writing which will be added shortly.
The Shetland Times wil be selecting some of the work to publish in the paper in the coming weeks.
