Nesting and Girlsta UHA
We enjoyed a visit from the NGUHA squad today. Mrs Forsyth and P1/2 had created a quiz for the Guizer Jarl and we all enjoyed a Boston Two Step to finish off the visit.
Whole School Dance
Today pupils from Early Years to Primary 7 came together for a whole school dance following 3 weeks of traditional dance practice with Maria Leask.
The atmosphere was super, with all children and staff on the dance floor.
Sports Day
Queen’s Platinum Jubilee party
Polycrub
The Polycrub is back in use. Mrs Forsyth has been busy this week getting all pupils in to plant out seeds.
Redd Up
Lots of bruck cleared from the local area this week, thanks to pupils and staff.
Health and Wellbeing Census 2022
Shetland Islands Council is planning to ask all pupils in P5 to S6 to take part in a survey about their health and wellbeing. The findings will help Shetland Islands Council to understand the needs, strengths and possible concerns of children and young people, which will help plan future improvements to local services. Parents will receive a letter providing more detailed information about the Census, and the opportunity to let us know if they do not wish for their child to take part.

Outdoor Coffee Morning
We had our snack outside this week- this was instead of our coffee morning we usually have in October. We decorated our zones with bunting and rainbows because we wanted to say thank you to the NHS and raise some money for them.
P3/4 assembly
Primary 3/4 presented our assembly last week. It was great to see what they have been learning about in class and share with the rest of the school how they are doing it.
