Congratulations to Jasmine, S3, who has achieved 3rd place (11-16 age group) in the recent SOTEAG Photography competition. SOTEAG stands for Shetland Oil Terminal Environmental Advisory Group.

The theme of the competition this year was ‘Your Coast’ .  Jasmine decided to enter a photograph she had taken whilst out for a walk with her family, which highlights the impact of rubbish in our environment.

The judges commented that sadly, the bruck reflected all too well the reality of modern day Shetland. They also said that the rocks and the grass and flowers looked beautiful next to it.
