S1 Visit to Croft house Museum

S1 visited the Croft House Museum on Wednesday 25th September as part of their Shetland History topic. They were accompanied by myself and Angelina Jamieson and the visit gave the pupils the chance to experience what life would have been like in Shetland in the 19th century. We were lucky to have custodian Ian Smith on hand to answer any questions and the class enjoyed hearing his stories about life in the house. A good day out was had by all and the rain even held off until our return journey. Many thanks to Angelina for coming with us on the trip.
