The Whalsay Community have recently raised £30 000 to re-lay the Hall floor – a project that has just been completed.  Last term Whalsay School was approached by Donna Polson of the Hall Committee for help with putting together some material for a time capsule to go under the new floor. Classes in both Primary and Secondary have worked on this and the Capsule and some of their work was displayed at the Community Café on the 26^th March and in the Primary Department later in the week. During the Revellers’ Family Gig the opportunity was taken to photograph the time capsule with some of the bairns involved.
