Fair & Community Café for Children in Need

Yesterday afternoon, Staff and pupils organised a Fair and Community Café to raise funds for the BBC Children in Need Appeal.

We raised an amazing £414.61!

Last Friday, pupils in Primary and Nursery  raised £141.69, so in total, Whalsay School is donating £556.38 this year.

   

Prizes at Fair

Blush’s hobby was kite boarding – Faye Anderson was nearest

Pudsey had been in New Zealand – Janet Leask was nearest

The Pudsey Smucks smelt of pickles – Lori Sutherland was nearest

The Christmas Eve Box and contents cost £20.80 – Mark Williamson was nearest

Michael Poleson moved most split peas using a straw

Karis Leask got most pegs on the line

Mackie Reid was fastest at solving Pudsey’s Ping Pong Problem

William Leask won the Ultimate Children in Need Showdown Quiz
