Yesterday we did our first session of dancing at the leisure centre. We did traditional wedding dances like the grand old duke of York and Bridal march. Alyshia and Zak were the Bride and Groom, Morgan, Lola and Bella were bridesmaids and Hunter, Henry and Sandy  were the best men. Alyshia’s parents were Annie and John James. Zak’s parents were Lily and Danny. We are going to be doing dancing weekly on Thursdays.

During our lessons we learned the Boston Two Step, the Bridal March, Dashing White Sergeant and Strip the Willow. We had a Christmas party up at the leisure centre. All of the classes from primary came up and all of the primary sevens had to dance with younger ones so that we could help them. We also did some party games which were really fun.

Thank you parent council for letting this happen and thank you Maria for teaching us to dance.
