STEM challenge 2 – Wind Turbines
STEM co-ordinators Eleanor and Emma challenged P4-7 to create their own wind turbines using Lego Tech. There was a Lego Tech generator and the children could measure the speed and electricity through a monitor. Lots of engineers among us in Lunnasting!

We had a visit from STEM co-ordinators, Eleanor and Emma. They challenged P4-7 to create a contraption to remove oil for the sea. The class were given various materials to simulate animals, birds and land.
