We worked on different things in numeracy.✖️➖➕➗🟰 In SRA, we read and answer questions, then we go over them to see if we got them right. We are learning about the Winter Olympics .🏂🎿🥌⛷️⛸️ for a break we were doing Sumdog.🐶✖️➖➕➗ Art is really cool and fun😊😃We were adding the primary colours to our art.💛❤️💙

We were learning about the bad things about cigarettes.🚬❌ We were playing Sumdog.🐶Leah was doing comprehension.📝  

Working hard on our Maths. 😃 We made haggises for our Robert Burns night. With Miss Gifford we did traditional dancing. 💃 We made poppies in Art for National Poppy Day. We earned lots of stickers working hard and listening well. We also have to remember to be kind to everybody. Ashlyn and Freya  

We have been learning about the rainforest. We are currently working with the different layers of the rainforest and created a wall display. We have been learning about electricity.  we have learned that electricity are electrons moving. We found out about power plants and batteries. We drew diagrams of different circuits using scientific symbols.

We have made good use of the good weather to do some outdoor learning. We measured perimeters and areas of different places outside. It was a bit challenging working with metre sticks but we all did a good job. We measured in metres and square metres. We had a visit from Dynamic Earth and they brought a planetarium. P4-7 and the nursery went inside the planetarium dome together. When it got really dark in there, we were shown the different planets and we had a trip through our solar system, our galaxy and the universe. We all really enjoyed it.

In primary 4-7 we had fun doing PARKOUR exercises with Isla from Active Schools.       

In Maths this week, we have been working with different 2D shapes.
