Folk Festival 2026 by Elana Leask The 44th Shetland folk festival 2026 will take place from Thursday 30th April to Sunday 3rd May. The Shetland Folk festival is the UK’s most northern Folk Festival and welcomes hundreds of visitors each year. Shetland Folk Festival is organized by a volunteer committee who work hard to make the festival as exciting and unique as possible. The concerts are held throughout the islands and will show you all our communities big and small.
