Primary 3 have been busy encouraging all our pupils to participate in the Sustrans Big Walk & Wheel Challenge. In the last week of term the Shetland Islands Council Climate Team came to interview Primary 3 as part of their ‘Climate Yarns’ project.

Tuesday 1st April saw the Final of the South School Football League at the Scalloway Games Hall. It was a closely fought competition but Sound triumphed to take home the trophy π

We would like to say a Very Big Thank You! to our Parent Council and our parent and pupil helpers for all their hard workΒ at the Ground Force Event this weekend. What a massive difference this has made to the area outside the school π
We are delighted that we have been successful in our bid to the Tesco Stronger Starts Grant Programme for purchasing new school sports strips for our netball and football teams, to promote a sense of belonging, identity and professionalism.
Voting is now open in the Lerwick store and runs to the end of March! Please consider voting for us and don’t forget to tell your friends and family too!
Sound A and Sound B Football Teams took to the Scalloway Games Hall on the 3rd December to play their first fixture in the Schools South League. Both teams played South Mainland and Scalloway, winning 2 games apiece.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and are looking forward to the next fixture, where they will take on Bells Brae and Hamnavoe, on the 21st January in the Gilbertson Park Games Hall.
