P1B have been using colour to make their teddy bear collages . Here are a few examples finished today.

We have been learning a song about Hot Cross Buns. We practised keeping a steady beat and we suggested lots of different ways we could keep the beat like tapping our heads or shoulders, or clicking our fingers in time.

We have also learned  about Boomwhackers and how they are used to create different sounds of different pitches. We worked out that the longer the boomwhacker, the lower the pitch of the note and the smaller the boomwhacker, the higher the pitch of the note.

We have had a fabulous couple of days enjoying the spring sunshine, playing together and having fun  

P1B have been drawing daffodils and making collages.

Wow! What a lot of these metaskills we used during our trip to build dams at the beach

P3 and P1 worked brilliantly together and had a great time.

The children have been using circular shapes to make planets and moons. They have been investigating and exploring different art materials to colour the planets and space. They have stuck on stars. We have talked about volcanoes appearing in icy landscapes and imagining rivers, craters and other rocks.
