Shape Hunt!
We have been looking for shapes in the environment. We found lots of shapes outside and even more inside school!
We used tally marks to help us count how many we found and even managed to count in 5s! 🙂
Small Apparatus
In PE we have been working with the games equipment, developing our individual skills.
Autumn Walk
We went on a lovely walk on an even lovelier day to spot signs of Autumn. Amazingly, lots of the leaves were all the beautiful shades of Autumn and falling gently to the ground! A rare Autumn indeed! 🙂
Friendship! :)
P6 lead our buddying session this week, making friendship bracelets with our class. An extra challenge for P6 and P2 was to learn to tie their shoelaces! 2 bairns actually learned during the session. Well done to Dylan and Aalia! 🙂
Drumming Show!
Joy lead a showcase of all this term’s drumming for P1, P2 and Nursery bairns. What great fun and an excellent show for all!

What a great time we have had over the last few weeks with Joy! She has taught us all about beat, timing, drumming and having fun!
At the end of the last lesson with Joy, the bairns played the sleepy game. Joy played her drum and they all danced and when the music stopped they all went to sleep while being serenaded those who were happy to sing. 🙂
